Teaching in Cleveland and burbs (Reading: credit, special education, fast track)

I've posted before, so please forgive if you've read this before.

I'm a CT certified teacher in Reading and ESL. I know it's not easy finding a teaching job anywhere, but I'm trying to figure out if Ohio does any kind of endorsements based on credits/passing subject matter tests. I have a lot of Special Education credits, have practiced the Praxis in Special Ed and did fine, so I wonder if Ohio does a transcript evaluation or if districts will let you start in a field as long as you complete the requirements in a set amount of time. I'm trying to know if I can get an Intervention Specialist cert under those conditions.

Also, is there any market for tutoring in the area? Where I am now, the masters of the universe all want tutors for their kids because we all know it's important to make sure Little Johnny is on the fast track to Harvard at age three. I know that isn't necessarily the market there (gosh, I hope not), but do people hire tutors very much?

Ok, I replied to your other post. Now I see that you are already certified in CT. Yes, you should be able to get hired and pursue other endorsements, just not sure if its likely you would get hired in the area where you weren't fully endorsed yet.
