I know some of you must be getting tired of my excitement for CLE. Feel free to click out of this post if you are exhausted from reading all of my threads.

July 22: Arrive late in Toledo from CA. Stay with family overnight.
July 23-approx. July 27 in CLE area with cousins.
July 27-Aug. 5 Maine
Aug. 5-Aug 7 Dayton area to see more family and friends
Aug. 8-12 Nothing in stone.
Aug. 12 Depart Toledo for CA

All in a sleeper on Amtrak with my two kids.

Hey, at least I'm not asking how CLE compares to another city because I MIGHT MOVE THERE at some point. LOL

My cousin is planning activities. I may get to see a Tribes game or Browns practice (just announced). Lots to do. Hope to impress my kids so they can talk "mommy" into wanting to move.

See you all soon!

The Dayton area has some wonderful attractions.

Dayton: Aviation History Mecca of the World - TripAdvisor

If you want to see a charming small town, check out nearby Yellow Springs and the Glen Helen Nature Preserve, a National Natural Landmark.

Are you going to rent a car for Aug. 8-12?

See post 2 here.

Have you ever visited The Henry Ford in Dearborn, MI?

Definitely consider a visit to the Ohio State Fair.

I remember my first trip out this way at a young age of 23. We went to Ann Arbor, Michigan. It did feel incredibly different to me than CA. Actually, Ann Arbor had a familiar feeling, but the surround suburbs of Detroit where we stayed felt so very different.

Have a great trip.
Can't wait to see it through the eyes of your kids.

Yes, renting a car in Toledo. My wife has family in Toledo and Oakwood (Dayton area). We lived in Centerville for one year and plan to see a few friends as well.

My plan is to spend the most time in CLE and Lake Sebago. LUCKILY, we have free lodging just about the entire trip.
