The Indians in June posted the first undefeated month at home of 10 games or more in Tribe history.

Note this gem about Kubler and Bauer's dominance of the Rays in the last two games:

<<In fact, the last time a pair of Cleveland hurlers tossed back-to-back complete games with three or fewer hits was Aug. 21-22, 1977.>>

This team has me excited, and I don't get excited or too optimistic ever about them, I've just seen this movie too many times. The under the radar AL team to reach the series, I think. They just need to stay healthy, and the starting pitching can't lose its groove, incl (or especially) Bauer.
Gotta keep it rolling!

And Brantley still isn't back. Gotta figure that will be a big boost.

Default Fans planning Indians championship parade

Indians fans already are planning an Indians championship parade. Too bad that neither Bob Feller, Larry Doby, Lou Boudreau, Bob Lemon, Joe Gordon, or Mel Harder, let alone Satchel Paige, still are alive to provide a connection to the Indians' last World Series championship. As with the NFL's Jim Brown awarding the trophy to the Cavaliers in the Cavs' victory celebration, certainly LeBron would be a great choice to do the honors for the Indians.

Default Detroit series is paramount now

Having been swept by the Royals on its last road trip, the Tribe now needs to bounce back on the road and continue its dominance of the Tigers, who have won four straight.

Too bad this series isn't in Cleveland.

Final play of tonight's game was INSANE!!! I was getting worried for a bit. Opposing pitcher has a good record and we HIT big. Another win- 7 in a row!

Oh... can KC lost!

What was it, an 8-4-2-3 double play?

Kind of makes me wonder. Is the overall curse really broken?

About to watch today's game and THEN do chores!

Good pitching match up for sure.

Teams around us losing and we are rolling. Hope for a decent end to road trip and then BIG turn out in CLE for the next home game.
