Oct. 8-10. Browns vs. Patriots.
Bringing a friend- Patriots fan. He's never been to CLE. Hotels were almost sold out so I'm trying my first Airbnb- 5th floor on Euclid right in CLE State area. Healthline should be a few min. to downtown.

If I am REALLY lucky... Indians will have a home playoff game.

If you would enjoy Leaf Turn, definitely plan to visit Holden Arboretum (buy Canopy Walk tickets in advance, especially on weekends) and perhaps Cuyahoga Valley National Park and/or Ohio Amish Country (combine with a visit to Pro Football Hall of Fame in nearby Canton).

Top 10 Places to See Autumn Leaves -- National Geographic

However, based on a long-range weather forecast in the PD this morning, fall colors may be late this year. Cleveland is magic in early October, barring rain. Have you ever experienced a Cleveland autumn?

^There is no place in the nation, just outside a major city, like driving the length of Chagrin River Rd near the eastern perimeter of the county, especially when the leaves turn. The scenery, which is equal parts New England quaint, suburban mega-wealthy, forest beauty and rural charm, is simply breathtaking. It's great to top off the day with dinner at one of Chagrin Falls' old inn spots. You won't regret it and will never forget it.
