How good is the internet in Cleveland, Ohio when it snows during the winter. Do you get outages a lot? I have put our house up for sale, and am considering moving to either Charlotte, NC or Cleveland, OH. So far it looks like Cleveland.

I have Spectrum internet and it's been extremely reliable (knock on wood). No issues during bad weather at all. I was having occasional dropouts 2 years ago so I had them replace a coupling outside the house and that fixed the problem. Been fine ever since.

I've had AT&T U-Verse, Cox, and Spectrum. Never any internet problems due to winter weather that I can recall.

You might get outages due to a good wind storm, any time of year.

Cable service is pretty consistent across the region. Electrical service can vary significantly. Certain areas (heights through Lyndhurst) have sections where electrical utility service can be bad. Both me (Cleveland Heights) and my son (Lyndhurst) have had this experience. It is my understanding it relates to how the area was originally wired for electrical power. There are small sections that are on dead-end power lines, making maintenance more of a hassle. For example, the nasty thunderstorm that went through two Fridays ago, my son had to wait 5 days to get his power turned on. I had a similar experience, albeit 25 years ago, in Cleveland Heights. FYI

Free Wifi works well. Wifi Network ID is "OldBrooklyn." I didn't do formal speed testing, but YouTube at 720P streamed without buffering.

Hello, thank you for your help, this looks really good. So far everything seems to work out in Cleveland and I am so excited to move there, I called a realtor and she sounded really nice. What a difference with Los Angeles. Again thank you and have a wonderful day.
