Here's a video in which Cleveland Indians identify their favorite restaurants. There's a heavy bent towards steak houses.

Where do Indians players like to eat in Cleveland? (video) | cleveland.com

One frequently mentioned restaurant, and one which I had never heard of, was Strip in Avon, OH.

Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse also was frequently mentioned, and it's a personal favorite.

Barrio Tacos received a couple mentions, and the Gateway location downtown is a favorite pre-game menu of mine.

Other mentions that I picked up were TownHall in Ohio City, the new Marble Room Steaks and Raw Bar, Heck's and, of course, Mitchell's Ice Cream. There were a few other mentions that I didn't pick up.

After listening to the video clip, I wondered if the Indians would have won the World Series if they had universally practiced the Tom Brady diet.

Default 2017 Best New Restaurant by Cleveland Magazine

Cleveland Magazine named Ohio City's Plum Café & Kitchen as the best new restaurant in 2017.

https://clevelandmagazine.com/food-d...estaurant-2017

It sounds as if it is best described as a seasonal locavore restaurant.

Love Harry Buffalo! They have a buffalo Mac-n-cheese melt that’s delicious. That’s also definitely NOT part of the Tom Brady diet lol.

Default Q

Any such list that omits Sokolowski's University Inn, northeast Ohio's only James Beard "America's Classics" restaurant, or the Blue Point Grille, does live up to the label IMO.

Personally, I think Mabel's BBQ, the Black Pig, Greenhouse Tavern, and the Flying Fig are overrated.

I would concur with the Balaton, Superior Pho and Momocho, and there are several listed restaurants that I haven't visited.

Default New food halls

Ohio City Galley and Market Hall in Shaker Hts.' new Van Aken District introduce food halls to the Greater Cleveland foodie scene.

https://clevelandmagazine.com/food-d...staurant-scene

https://www.travelpulse.com/news/des...ion-trend.html

The Ohio City Galley is located at the corner of West 25th St. and Detroit Ave. Parking may be an issue, although valet parking is available. It easily can be reached from downtown by bus.

https://www.cleveland.com/expo/life-...neak-peek.html

The Van Aken District can be reached from Tower City downtown on the Blue Line rail rapid. Banter, Beer & Wine in the Market Hall there will offer Polish Boys, although widely said to be Cleveland's sandwich, Polish Boys are not that readily available.

Default Cleveland's best brunches and breakfasts

Pier W at Winton Place in Lakewood, easily reached from downtown using RTA, likely still offers Greater Cleveland's premier all-you-can eat Sunday brunch; it was named earlier this year as one of the two best in Ohio by Open Table. Alley Cat in the East Flats, serviced by the Waterfront rail rapid line, offers legendary Cleveland restaurateur Zack Bruell's only Sunday all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch offering.

https://www.cleveland.com/entertainm...hio_brunc.html

Many of the restaurants on the following lists may only offer breakfast menus, not expanded, all-you-can-eat brunches.

Shake Shack, once committed to the nuCLEus project, now going in at E 6/Euclid; the Garfield Blgd, next to Marble Room. Excellent location.

https://www.cleveland.com/business/2...-building.html

Hoping the long empty space Euclid Avenue in the Schofield won't last too much longer, it's been empty since the property opened with Kimpton Hotel.
