(BTW... If you're getting bumped into in Chicago more often than rarely, it's because you're not fitting into the city's rhythm. I became pretty expert at dodging that sort of thing.)
You're not fitting into the city's new rhythm lol. Cleveland streets aren't crowded like your beloved, flawless Chicago streets you shouldn't be getting bumped on them.

I don't really get it so much on Cleveland streets as I do while sitting at a computer in the Lakewood Library's Tech Center. People moving about in the aisle behind me, constantly bumping my chair, and never a word of apology. And most of those who do it are up in years and should know better. Just one example of what I said in another thread: I've never seen more rude old people in one place as I do in today's Lakewood.

(I am seriously visually impaired in one eye, which messes with my depth perception, yet I can walk down the same aisles without bumping into people's chairs. So to my way of thinking, there's no excuse for it.)

As to Cleveland streets not being crowded -- it's true, they aren't, yet people find a way to invade my comfort zone anyway and I'm constantly on my toes here. Even if they don't bump me, all too many of them get too close. In Chicago I could understand the lack of a body bubble because the people there are used to dense, crowded conditions. In Cleveland it makes no sense -- give me some more elbow room!

Agree most people are moving out there are either tech nerds or in a high paying industry.
