I remember seeing it there in late 04 I believe, and I think it's been going on even before that. A long process I guess.

Interesting...had asked about it, and they said we were in year 3 of 5. Either way, it is a great looking building, one of the best in the nation from this time, and they are doing a good job of making it look new again.

I just rechecked the picture I took of it when I was there in late 04-early 05 and it just has the net on it.

I'm assuming that was just for catching falling debris then, I must have confused that with they were already doing restoration.

Very minor addition to Downtown...but a very interesting one nonetheless!

Downtown Cleveland bicycle rentals start Friday http://www.cleveland.com/business/index.ssf/2009/06/downtown_cleveland_bicycle_ren.html

They're building a $370,000 bike station on E. 4th Street into one of the existing Parking garages...right next to Harry Buffalo I believe

That is awesome, Cleveland can now become one of the nation's most bicycle friendly cities.

I'm never 100% certain as to the motive behind most of your posts

No lol I actually think that would make Cleveland extremely more bicycle friendly. I think with this huge new development for bicycles, this would bring bike lanes throughout downtown and the city. Cleveland has already been voted one of the America's most pedistrian friendly cities (walking), now maybe it could add bicycles to the list.
