What's the WFL? I am on the Healthline most every day at differing times and have been seeing more police coming on to check tickets/passes and pulling people off who haven't paid. I overheard some passengers saying they usually keep an unstamped ticket with them in case they are stopped. And as I've noted before, ridership is about 90% or even 95% African American for those who are interested.

Waterfront Line. The WFL is an extension of the Blue/Green lines, which share a common station with the Red Line at the Tower City, E. 34th Campus Road, and East 55th stations. If a fare pass isn't used, switching lines requires a new fare.

Finally some good news with RTA: fare violators getting the boot and, hopefully, cited. If it's just hauling them off the bus, it's not effective. WFL is the Waterfront Line rapid transit, extension of the Green/Blue line through the flats/lakefront.

Thanks...I forgot it was called that and just think of it as part of the blue line. I was seeing police much more often last month and hope it continues. We could have used police today when a youth got off the Healthline and proceeded to kick the windows as hard as he could - it was startling to say the least. I hate that line.

The bridge is a must have. -->CLE Chatter: Planners consider wider design for pedestrian bridge to waterfront, dirt-bike track plan hits speed bumps | cleveland.com

Who agrees?

I do. I thought the Rosales design was good, I was hoping they would go with that. Not so sure it really needs to be wider, I think it needs to "catch the eye" so people at the RRHOF or Mall C are drawn towards it, to investigate and then use it.

Bigger is not better IMO, this is not the place to be "functional". It's the city's doorstep, it needs to be inviting, intriguing, suggesting greatness. It also needs to be an aesthetic bridge between modern art (RRHOF) and the more conservative Group Plan by Burnham (c. 1903). So they're right in making sure they get the right design in place, but I would think they could figure out a way to pay for the Rosales design.

This is not surprising, given that whites are known to have little concern for what's cost effective, environmentally friendly, etc. I was driving through the Target parking lot the other day, and at least 95% of the drivers were whites.

Umm, if you followed the posts and what this was in reply to, you would get the meaning of this. It has nothing to do with race; only a response to a certain poster who refuses to believe most RTA riders are African-American.
