Thanks WRnative for the ongoing help! As another poster stated, your generosity of knowledge and time is incredibly helpful. Can’t thank you enough!

Re: Willoughby...we liked the town (main street district, shops...) and there are some good pockets of home stock that drew our attention. We have it on the list for further exploration.

Mentor is worth a look for sure. Like you said, it seems to be a great retail resource for East-siders, and perhaps a viable home search area for us as well.

Re: driving in Amish country. I was stunned driving from Warren to Beachwood at 10p in a driving rainstorm last night...passed 3 Amish buggies on Rt 422 near Parkman. Usually I don’t encounter them so late at night on 422. Must have been due to the Palm Sunday gatherings? Regardless, thankfully they are using battery powered safety lights on both the rear and front of the buggies. In these dark/rainy weather conditions, somewhat surprising on that stretch of highway.

Thanks again for the help!

The gf lives in Niles so I drive over there somewhat frequently, the length is just about as long as I can comfortably drive and not mind. Driving through Geauga is awesome too, I think. I really find it beautiful out there.
Thanks bjimmy! Crossed threads during my reply to WRnative. Helpful perspective and much appreciated!
