I know this is a sports talk thread, so allowing some "trash talk" is OK.

However...keep it civil.

But, it is kind of funny to see Cleveland and Kansas City fans in a trash talk discussion, both towns have somewhat of a struggle with sports franchises.

Speaking of KC though, I lived there for a few years in the early 1970's, and saw the Kings play at Kemper Arena. The Kings had Tiny Archibald and Slammin Sam Lacey leading the team. I went to see the Scouts too, play against the Philadelphia Flyers. Couldn't buy Flyers tickets in Philly.

BTW, your moderator is out here in Sacramento, so don't pick on the Kings.

Please continue...civilly.

You obviously still are, and Kansas City Public Schools have "failed you" in life meaning they obviously didn't teach you good, especially by allowing you to graduate.

At least Cleveland has an NBA team. Now please leave, Mr. Troll.

With the exception being the Browns, that statement's a tad silly. Both the Indians and the Cavs have been contenders within the last 5 years. When was the last time KC contended? Royals: 1985 Chiefs: 1993 Kings: Skated in 1985.

Not to turn this into a Cleveland vs KC thread, but both cities have frequently had "challenges" with their professional franchises.

Both are relatively small markets, and neither is a major free agent draw.

I like both cities for different reasons, and wouldn't trash either town.

KC has nothing but challenges. At least Cleveland has and has had recent contenders to speak of.

BTW, the KC guy started it. The rest of us are finishing it.

Bet you wish like me that you hadn't wasted 3 hours of your life watching that pathetic display of effort by the Cavs!

Anyone else think Lebron had a bet on the Celtics last night?

Think we might have seen him play his last home game as a Cavalier last night? Maybe he's throwing the series so we aren't as ticked off when he decides to leave?

We lose tomorrow and I am done with Cleveland sports. Period.

My new teams will be the Magic, the Bengals and the Tigers.
