Pst. Probability of the OP being a lifelong republican near ZERO.

A lifelong GOPper would not single out McCain for something the Dems do in equal amounts. Also a life long Rep probably would not whine about Rush and Fox when there is Chris "shivering legs" Matthews and the Communist News Network.

A real switcher would far more likely say something about wild spending and getting into quagmire wars. Someone HAD to have said something to him by 2004 that there was something very very wrong in the housing sector. Free markets are fine but availability of liar loans should have been a HUGE clue.

Not sure who said it but it says it for me.

George W Bush. Social conservative and fiscal liberal; WHO THE **** WANTS ONE OF THOSE!??

I am originally from Cleveland, and I remember when the jobs started going overseas. I have moved several times to stay employed, and here in Arizona, now, it isn't so great.

I am surprised ANYONE would vote for McCain given the job situation, especially in Cleveland. Only someone who has a lot of money and doesn't really care where this nation is headed would vote for McCain.

I wanted Ron Paul...but if I can't have him, I don't want McCain. He will ignore the Middle Class just like Bush did.

Bush is not a conservative. Never was. People need to be educated on what a true conservative is, and it is not a country club spoiled rich guy who overspends.

Bush is a crusader, he lost his veto pen untill a bill comes along to use stem cells. He is a traitor to the conservatives and the real reason we went to war was because Sadam tried to have his Daddy killed !

It will be a shame if McCain loses the election because of Bush.

I cannot stand any of this. I want to move to canada.
Obama may have inexperience, but he has heart AND an experienced VP to be the Robin to his Batman. McCain has experience, yes, but I feel personally offended that when Obama did not choose Hilary as his VP, McCain knew all the hardcore fems out there were disappointed and he took advantage of that disappointment and chose a woman as his running mate. I guess he thinks we're stupid enough to fall for something like that. And HOW OLD IS MCCAIN??!! He couldn't last 8 years, so he'd more than likely resign and leave the position to Palin. How experienced is she at running the country? No more experienced than Obama. Hmm...
In the end we have a "Baby Daddy" against a "Redneck Woman."

Yeah, I used to think that Ron Paul was a whacko, but with the current financial crisis he's looking smarter and smarter. Both Obama and McCain will continue us on the socialism track that Bush has started with his increased government spending and excessive power, so either way this country is in trouble, IMHO.

Why is Barack Obama a "baby daddy?"

He has been married to Michelle Obama since 1992, which was before either of their daughters were born.

So by being a libertarian, which calls for no oversight whatsoever, Wall Street would behave better? Um, look what they did with minimal oversight.
