Yes I called and the Cleveland people said the plates were on a Chevy wagon-I have a Mazda sedan but I still have to prove to them that the license number is connected to a Mazda??
Seems like they are accusing, they should have to do the proving.

Hi babyzuka, What I think you should do (although a hassle) is go to a registrar (where you Bought your plates) and show them your ticket "letter" and NY registration. They can FAX Ohio BMV and straiten this out. That or simply photocopy your registration and send it to Division of Parking in Cleveland with a note that says "BACK OFF".
I Think the photos are black and white and are reviewed by humans so our plates could look similar from a distance. You could have the same plate number as an Ohio plate. I can feel your frustration as this sounds like something that would happen to me. City of Cleveland Parking Ticket Scam?-compare.jpg

Of course, the person at Cleveland parking could be colorblind.....

thanks for the suggestions,
I copied and sent my reg,
but the ticket originated in OHIO why wouldn't they assume it is an OHIO plate not a NY plate?
Seems strange and that is why I was so suspicious!
