I am interviewing at companies in both places. So I am trying to decide which would be better place for a young couple in our late 20's. Cleveland is leading the way. Hope to hear from some of you. Thank you.

I've never been to Pittsburgh, so I can't compare the two; but CLEVELand is great! I acutally think the two cities are more similar than peope would liek to admit. The city is full of life, great things to do, people to meet and places to see. There is a big rivalry with the football teams, but that is some of what makes this area fun. I've lived here all my life, and am getting ready to relocate to Florida for family reasons, and know I will miss it. I say go where the $$ are, you can't miss with either.

Cleveland has Lake Erie as a waterfront for downtown. Nothing in Pittsburgh compares to the Lake.

If $$ match, I would prefer Pittsburgh over Cleveland.

As has been said the Lake, nothing in Pittsburgh comes close to matching it. Plus I feel Cleveland has a more cosmopolitan big city feel similar to the East coast if that intrigues you at all.

Pittsburgh has a pretty east coast feel, i would say the downtown and surrounding neighborhoods look much more east coast than Cleveland, with its mostly great lakes/Midwestern housing stock.
Pittsburgh does has more of a Appalachian connection/history, that is a HUGE difference in the two cultures. Pittsburgh also seems to have more of its wealth still centered in its urban neighborhoods (squirel hill etc) in Cleveland, other than downtown, most of the urban neighborhoods are in poor shape. You have to go to an inner ring suburb to find well off neighborhoods in the central city (outside downtown)

No you don't what about Shaker Square and West Park and the Rockefeller Park part of Glenville. There are still some nice neighborhoods, the inner city is not completely void of upscale areas at all.

Pittsburgh lacks diversity, culture and unity...which is sorta outdated these days in today's times...Pittsburgh has overpriced apartments not worth the $$$$...Pittsburgh pollution is unbelievable and the transit system is far the worst in the Nation!!!! Pittsburgh healthcare is okay not the greatest especially "ohio valley and allegheny general"!, Pittsburgh neglects improving lower-income communities and the policing there is unspeakable....Pittsburgh entertainment venues are way overpriced and the nightlife other than the ol dirty, intoxicated zombies southside it lacks quality clubs and venues. Pittsburgh Board of Council is a circus,Pittsburgh schools are a travesty should I continue?????????????

Where do you live now? It might make a difference in your decision, e.g. closer/farther to family, etc.
