I'm looking to buy a home in Cleve Hts. and wondered where the best areas and homes are for empty nesters? The homes we're looking at are around $90,000 - $120,000. Any feedback is appreciated, there is only so much info you can get from your realtor and the data sites for crime etc. Thank you!

I'd personally go with areas that are close to CWRU/University Circle orby Severance Town Center just for the sheer convenience of it, but for better info, try Urban Ohio.

I'd also look into the areas around Cedar-Lee and Cedar-Fairmount.

Also, check out this house: http://cleveland.craigslist.org/reo/1343033259.html

For your budget, it is kind of hard to find a house in very nice area of Cleveland heights. Try to find some house near fairmount blvd.

^^Those will be about 300K plus at the cheapest for the most part. I have some friends who live around Cedar-Lee and they paid abour 150K for their houses, but are nice and have a lot of character.
