Hello,
I'm thinking about buying a house on the East 133 street in East Cleveland, OH - it should be already rehabbed (judging by the photos from an inspection it looks nice), but I'm a little bit concerned about the neigborhood. Is it really that bad? How hard would it be to find some tenants? Any of you have some experience with Section 8 renters?

thank you for any advice,
Daniel

I'm familiar with EC and that area west of Hayden. 133rd in EC goes parallel to the tracks from Woodworth to Lakefront, the whole way is high crime and very rundown (not every property, but the area as a whole).

With section 8 it usually doesn't matter how bad the neighborhood is because you'll always get tenants. Now, if you were planning on selling the house (not renting out) that would be another story.
