My family and I are looking to move and we are ready for a change. We live in a suburb on the westside and work in Shaker Hts and Independence. Children are elementary aged and we need full day kindergarten. Loved Broadview hts until I found out it cost $4350 for all day kindergarten plus another $360 for after-care.

I don't want my commute to be any more than 35 mins to SH and neither for my husband. I like the Nordonia Hills Schools area, Brooklyn Hts. & Valley View, and Independence. Schools are super important and I know they all have great ratings. I wanna know about the life in these areas. I want a place I can raise my children in. Any thoughts?

So.....What's Northfield like? Sagamore Hills? How about Brooklyn Hts? Solon?

Please help!

That's an easy one: I don't see any issue with any city you mentioned. They are all good quality suburbs.

Northfield is a bit on the "hick" side. The other three are fine. All are OK, though.
