We went to visit Kure Beach last week and it was completely empty. We had such a great time. We plan on coming back down for the day from Raleigh on July 5th. Is it going to be extremely crowded due to the holiday or will most people go back home then?

I didn't like Kure beach at all. I didn't care for that whole area over there, but that's just me.

My favorite thing about Kure Beach are the beautiful houses. When my family and I were in the area last month, I took some pictures of them.

Anyway, I can't imagine Kure Beach drawing a big crowd. I think most people will be hanging around Wilmington, maybe Carolina Beach, and possibly Southport (where the official NC Fourth of July festival is held).

But that's just my opinion, of course.

I love Kure Beach...best kept secret! Often very sparse crowds, and so relaxing!
