Folks-We have two coastal fires to keep an eye on. Not only the fire at Pains Bay (OBX) Smoke Remains an Issue; Rain Chances Increase Late Week | Eyewitness News 9

Yep, and these fires can put out the smoke.

Yesterday, New Bern went from nice day to smoke city, around 1:00 pm. Vis down to 1/4 mile...and we are right far from either fire.
