Me & my husband are going to Outer Banks this long weekend. We are staying at an Inn at Cape Hatteras for 2 nights. Need some suggestions on activities/places to see around here.

Thanks

Hatteras Lighthouse, and climb it. Lovely views.

Take an aerial tour with Burrus Flying Service out of the Billy Mitchell Airport.

Take the Swan Quarter or Cedar Island Ferry to or from Ocracoke.

Check out the Purple Martin Roost on the old Manns Harbor to Manteo Bridge in late summer

Too bad it's not March. Jockey Ridge sand dunes are unbelievable. Like playing in a huge sandbox. Huge. But it's way too hot in summer.
