I am planning a trip with my wife, two kids, 8 and 3. We are also bringing my mom and dad. Our plan is to rent a motorhome. We are coming when my son is on spring break in march. Where should we camp? Resteraunts that time of year? We like seclusion, but also would like to find a cold beer close by. The kids having fun is a major plus. My son is very smart. He loves boats, trains, planes, etc.. On the other hand my mom is scared of all of that. Rodanthe sounds good to me, but I have 5 other people to consider. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think most campgrounds/rv parks are on Hatteras and Ocracoke. There may be more up in the northern beaches but I am not aware.
