The picture in the Greenville slide is of the fruit stand on the corner of Evans and Firetower. That guy makes some pretty good homemade ice cream.

What is the methodology to this? Greenville has 28k+ at ECU and the ones that go to PCC that skew our numbers, compared to a "normal city". I know when I went to ECU, I didn't work, had a lot of debt (student loans) and obvious my household income was zilch. So if it includes the students, then it is wrongly skewed. But if it doesn't, then damn.

I view "ranking" articles like this for entertainment purposes only. Wonder where they got their data.

But there are plenty of college towns, plenty of colleges ECU size and bigger, that aren't on that list. So regardless if ECU is included that is still bad.

A third of the population in Greenville are college students. I didn't research the other cities, but 1/3 of a population who doesn't work/has a low paying job will skew the heck out of a ranking.

Not surprising since Wilmington and Greenville are two dead-end cities.
