Places to fish???? (Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Star: live in, bill, beach)

Hello. Im new to saltwater fishing and i was gonna try some fishing from the surf and i was trying to find some good spots to go but i just dont know the area that well yet. Does anyone have any good spots???

Where along the NC coast are you planning to go? The fishery here is very diverse. It would help to have an idea of the area and type of fish you are thinking about.

I live in Wilmington , so around this area, carolina beach, wrightsville beach. i just wanna fish from the surf and catch whatever i can. Flounder more than anything

Bucku-The best advice I could give you for that neck of the woods is to visit Tex's Tackle in Wrightsville. Tex Grissom is the owner and knows the fishing reports for Wrightsville on down to the mouth of the Cape Fear. By the way-Flounder fishing has been very good in places like Snow's Cut and out of the surf at Carolina Beach.
