We are planning a trip to the beach this weekend. Does anyone know roughly what the ocean temperature is this time of year?

Hi,
I was at Top Sail 2 weeks ago & the ocean water was warmer than the condo pool. Sorry, couldn't tell you the temp, but, it was nice...several small children playing in the ocean.

Thank you for the information. Sounds like the water will be very nice. I am really looking forward to seeing the coast of NC.
