I've used both services. It depends on how much you have to move, where you're taking it, and how long you will need to store the unit before unpacking your stuff. Pak Rat's containers are smaller. They are also cheaper. Pods has the "established reputation." My recommendation is to contact both of them for price quotes (and maybe others too). It's a very competitive industry.

Had an excellent experience when I voted with my feet and left Jersey 7 years ago for NC. I had a large house and used 2 20footers. Great service! Oh yeah I once lived not too far from you in n edison GOOD LUCK

I personally wouldn't rent any of these services, nor a moving company's van, unless I had made arrangements to rent a "bed bug sniffing dog" prior to putting my belongings into a container that's been used by who knows how many families.

There are too many nightmare stories out there about moving boxes, moving vans, furniture van deliveries, etc., causing misery on unsuspecting families.
