Not living there full-time YET----but when I see events like these mentioned, and I'm also aware of theater,speaking and music events going on , it makes me wonder what posters mean when they say that North Carolina has no culture? If they mean history, well, there's plenty of history there too.
And I'm referring to people who have a lot of negatives to say about NC.

IME it's beacuse they are from areas where they are spoon fed entertainment. There are things going on all the time, but you won't commercials for it or see it on the evening news. You actually have to seek it out. Look on community calendars and what not. You know, what. I'm going to ask SunnyKayak to sticky a coastal events thread.
