You would be able to hear it anywhere in the development. I live at far end of Windsor Park and we still hear Hwy 74. Some sections of Compass Pointe are very close to land cleared for bypass. When you buy a house in either, they are required to disclose the plans and route of the bypass.
On Windsor Park side there is a huge berm that goes the length of the development, guessing that will remain as it already has trees planted on it.
I am more looking forward to the convenience than I am worried about noise, just the section opening soon will cut ~10 minutes off driving to Holden Beach, Shallotte, etc.
