Grad School looking for room in Wilmington until end of July. (sublet, apartment complexes)

Hi,

My name is Alex and I am a 26 year old substitute teacher in Pennsylvania and a PA Army National Guard veteran (Iraq 2009). I am going to graduate school in August through Johns Hopkins SAIS and I am trying to find a room in Wilmington until then. I'd like to spend around $300-$350 for each month I'm there, so if anyone knows anyone who has a room available, let me know.

I need to get out of PA for a couple of months.

At UNCW, there is usually boards where kids post rooms available for the summer that are leaving town for whatever reason. Should be in the Student Union. You may be able to call UNCW as well and see if there is a site available for students to post and sublet for a few months.

You also might try calling apartments and ask if anyone is looking for a summer sub lease.

Both good ideas. I did call UNCW today and they directed me to a message board but it has no activity on it whatsoever unfortunately.

I may call around to some apartment complexes in the next few days.

Have you tried the wilmingtonyardsales website? I'm not sure if I can link it here because I don't want to get accused of advertising- just google it though! Perhaps you could post a Want Ad on there, it's free
