I dont know how true this rumor is but i have heard that cracker barrel was reconsidering a location in goldsboro. The plan now is to put a restaurant on wayne memorial drive beside cvs pharmacy, across from harris teeter. It seems logical though seeing that the new store is causing even more traffic on wayne and makes building a business there more attractive.
You know I always wonder why Goldsboro doesn't have a Best Buy.
You know I always wondered about that also but I think that Best Buy is downsizing and restructuring to smaller more mobile oriented stores so I don't think one will appear in Goldsboro anytime soon.
Construction started today on the new greenway project in the city completion is expected to be in mid january.
