Just reaching out to the residents and visitors of the Beaufort / Morehead City Area. I am looking to start a new business in the area and I welcome your POSITIVE insight and opinions. I am not looking to make a million dollars. I aim to serve the people and have fun in a small business in a small town. I have thought about opening a boutique type store, but I know there are quite a few so I would need to offer something unique and valuable. I am also good with wood working and have thought about building ready made steps / entrance ways and pergolas for pick up or delivery. And I have thought about a dog grooming or walking or a type of service for your pets. I am not limited to these ideas, it is just a starting point. If you have any thoughts or suggestions of a positive nature, please share. Like I said, I am just reaching out to the people because that is what a successful business is about. What type of business would you like to see in your community ?

How about picket fences, custom screen doors and other gingerbread trim for houses? Things that would would enhance the style of coastal village houses.
