Hey, at least we don't have the major water shortage problems they are having in the Raleigh area! It's really bad.

Oyster - I'm in Raleigh and it's ridiculous. I hope y'all aren't dealing with that down there.

Can't be as bad as it is here in Charlotte. PLEASE say NO! We are wanting to move to Wilmington eventually (or Asheville) and that is not what we are wanting to hear.

Wilmington is such a pretty city!

Traffic sucks here in Charlotte!

We have plenty of water here in Charlotte too. Lots of lakes & the Catawba River is pretty full.

I find that you can get around town in Charlotte very quickly. Certain intersections get backed up, but the roads have such high capacity, and there are so many options.

In Wilmington, we don't really have extreme traffic, we just have pitiful little roads. A few days ago, it took me 25 minutes to travel 7 miles. My daily commute is 4.5 miles, and I routinely make it in about 15 minutes. That's an average speed of 15-20 mph.

it is different kinds of traffic. charlotte is basic large city metro traffic. wilmington is more traffic lights than anything else. I also agree with the pitiful little roads comment!
