History, healthcare, climate, cuisine, diving, sailing, Morehead City and Beaufort have a tremendous amount to offer. It might seem like culture shock moving there from a big city but in a matter of months you will feel right at home. I have looked for many years up and down the coast from Maryland to Florida and haven't found a place that can really match up. I was fortunate and able to buy a waterview homesite in Mariner's Pointe located in Morehead City.
