Hello! Recently posted, and realized the areas that I was interested in seem a little too far out for my liking now that I have a better idea of the location my husband will be working if this move goes through.

Stone bay, what does the commute look like from Hubert? Reasonable? Looking to stay under 30 mins IF possible.

Holly ridge and sneads will still be on my radar - but to be completely honest I'm not too confident spending over $165,000/ possibly $175,000 due to what looks like a potentially unstable housing market. Seeing a lot of new builds going up and I'm trying to understand how the local area will continue to support all this housing. Older homes seem to be sitting on the market quite awhile and we have no idea how long we will be in the area (hoping to be there for 5+ years but at this point who knows... I'm sure the "new-ness" of the house will have faded. )

Any other advice of areas to look into?
