Does anyone have any recommendations on good hotels by Wrightsville Beach?

I would suggest Holiday Inn Sunspree.

Holiday Inn Sunspree is a good choice. Blockade Runner is a little dated.

Sunspree is great, but very pricey. Beautiful property tho. We stayed last summer at Surf Suites next to the Oceanic and really enjoyed it. Also stayed at the Harbor Inn but its not oceanfront, its on the inlet.
