Please let this thread die. It was going so well for a month & a half. Buses are already as fast as they need to be. We all know this. Slay is well-meaning, but the state won't ever let this happen. Let's just move on.

I get the point the OP makes because on an interstate highway, any vehicle going 45 MPH when the speed is posted at 65 or 70 MPH creates a significant speed differential, which can be dangerous at high rates of speed.
The seatbelt issue does need to be addressed though.
