Recommendation for Medicare Supplement Plans needed! (Chapel Hill, Beaufort: insurance, chapel, live)

My father-in-law lives in Beaufort, NC and has employer insurance ending in March. He will be going on Medicare and needs a great supplement plan because he is in recovery for cancer. Could anyone recommend a great supplement plan or agent who can assist us? He did need to travel to Chapel Hill for surgery this year so it would be great if the plan covered UNC healthcare facilities too. Thanks for any help you can provide! This is all new to them and they don't really understand how it all works and neither do I to be honest

Check with his providers at UNC. Someone there should know which supplement plans are accepted in their system. All that mail can be overwhelming.

Let me add this: the doctors may not know, but the office people will, since they are the ones are the ones that know the billing.
