Looking for midweek 2 nights somewhere on the OBX during June. Never been and will have my 1 year old w/us. What area is the best for beaches and sightseeing? Also looking to pay under a $100 a night. Thanks

100 IN June you might want to look at campgrounds
try
Outer Banks, NC Accommodations, Vacation Homes, Hotels, and more...

Or look towards Frisco, nc

We have been going to the outer banks for years and always go to one of the towns on Hatteras Island. Much quieter. I think it will be very hard to find a place for just 2 nights in June. Most beach houses rent for a week. There may be some motels in Nags Head or Corolla but I do think under $100 will be really tough to find. Good Luck. It is such a beautiful place.

Do not stay in Peppers Cottage. It is woefully outdated...has roaches...and a musty smell...other than that it is great. It is fairly small so with a child you probably wouldn't consider it anyway. The Outer Banks are great however. Manteo is fabalous. The entire area...Dare Tyrell Washington Counties are beautiful. No comparison to New Hanover and Brunswick Counties to the south.

Ocrakoke Island....Drive all the way to the Coast Guard station at the end of the island, then turn around and start back. Any of these places on your left (inlet side) and whatever you do, don't miss the sunrise.....
