Yay!! Maybe the heavy traffic on 211 will lighten. Many days it’s been bumper-to-bumper. I’m sure the businesses near the bridge and east Oak Island will be happy it’s open.

I'm happy they raised the height of the guard rails on the rebuild of the bridge, I've biked and ran over that bridge many times and those knee high walls where inadequate.

I went over the bridge on Sunday and the one lane still needs to have the have the guardrails installed. I drove into Southport today and the traffic on on 211 was much better.
