Hi all!
My dad is interested in moving to Brunswick County and is an avid duck/pheasant Hunter. Are there any hunt clubs and/or recommendations for hunting in this area? He also has a hunting boat he'd like to bring. Any input or advice would be appreciated!

Best duck hunting is further north up the coast, from the Crystal Coast to the VA border. Bigger water hunting means he best really know what he's doing from a boat perspective. Some counties have blind laws. There is very little upland bird hunting to be had, but pay-hunts at various preserves can be worthwhile.

Wild populations of pheasants are virtually non-existent in NC

For pheasants, here is a link to state game lands: https://www.ncwildlife.org/Hunting/W...Game-Land-Maps

You would have to read through them to see what is permitted and when, but there are some areas in Bladen and Brunswick Counties.

Thanks for all the info! I will be sure to pass it along! I did tell him he might have to travel a bit further north - which he isn't opposed to!
