Are public restrooms open on Topsail Island yet? (Surf City: restaurant, beach)

Hi. I've checked the municipal websites, but I can't find any updates since early May, 2020. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

Can anyone tell me if the public restrooms at the public beach accesses are open yet? Dh wants to make a day trip to the beach.

I also checked the websites for NTB and Surf City, and could not find an official ruling. I think they are open, based on neighbors comments. However, I would telephone the offices during their business hours to make sure.

Be aware that one local restaurant closed voluntarily when a case of COVID-19 was detected. There have also been bad rip-currents at Surf City.

There aren't even that many public restrooms to begin with.........

For day trips, Wrightsville is a better option...weekdays, access 4 or 6.
