We are thinking about moving from NJ to Brunswick County (Compass Pointe, Magnolia Greens, Brunswick Forest). We need fast internet in order to be able to video chat with our children and grandchildren in NJ. Fast internet speed is available in NJ through Fios and others. But Verizon Fios does not appear to be available in zip code 28451. Who are the internet providers in the Leland area and what speeds are available? Thanks

Check out ATMC which has a fiber system called FOCUS which is very much like Verizon FiOS. Verizon FiOS is not available in the area.

You don't need very high speeds to video chat, or stream TV for that matter. A typical 1080p TV stream requires around 5Mbps. A video chat requires much less than that.

Depending on your timeline, Elon Musk’s Starlink May be the best alternative.
