Does anyone have information on the highway construction projects for Routes 795 south (exit off Route 95 in Wilson, NC), Route 117 south (near Goldsboro) to Route 40 south. Anyone traveling through Virginia and heading to Southeast North Carolina (or driving back to northeastern States): Wrightsville Beach, Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Fort Fisher, Southport, Oak Island, Shallotte, Ocean Isle Beach, Sunset Beach and further into “The Myrtle Beach area”.

Related: Fredericksburg, VA. The worst bottleneck of traffic for anyone traveling from/to northeastern parts of the country. Highway project looks like it will never end!

For the highways in NC, use www.drivenc.gov to find where there are construction projects that might impede your travels to the Wilmington & Myrtle Beach area.

Fredericksburg, VA I-95 traffic mess- It appears that the estimated completion dates have 3 phases:

#1 May 2022: Construction complete: Fredericksburg, VA traffic project

#2 Contract Construction Complete Date − 2023: Fredericksburg, VA traffic project

#3 Construction Complete:*Summer 2024: Fredericksburg, VA traffic project

From a thread in Virginia, someone provided a link.

Thanks Buxton Bagpipes and Sputnikjim!
