Love Moore St Oyster Bar. They have the best oysters, and the coldest beers
It was a place we would have liked to go back to for another meal, preferably dinner.
Our dinner choices were a bit limited because I don't drive at night at all anymore, and DH didn't want to have a couple of glasses of wine in Southport then drive back with limited street lighting to our place right near the lighthouse. (In fact, the lack of street lighting was one of the big reasons we didn't move to Wilmington in 2012 when we came to NC from Phoenix.)
BTW Hippie Chick granola is the bomb, and American Fish Company was delightful.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. I’d recommend another visit, this time staying in downtown Southport. I’d stay somewhere near the waterfront where you could walk everywhere for meals, drinks…..using your car only to go to the beach.

Excellent point! I live in downtown Southport, and there are at least half a dozen great restaurants I can walk to, plus American Fish, etc. And the beach is a quick drive away when we want to go for a walk on the strand, etc.

I’m jealous, seriously. We’ve grown to love this town and everything it has to offer.

We absolutely would LOVE that. I'll have to look for a potential home exchange.
