Can you specify what you mean by "the area" please? Coastal NC covers a lot of areas!

Coastal North Carolina is 300 miles long and about 100 miles inland. You will have to be more specific about what towns you are interested in.

If you are still trying to narrow down a town or price range, I suggest using CarolinaPlantations dot com . They list almost everything in planned developments. If you do not want to be in an HOA, then use Zillow.

Once you find a few homes your like, then Google for a buyer's agent. Especially if you want new construction, it is smart to use a buyers agent.

Sorry that I do not have a specific suggestion.

Good Luck. Brunswick County is 45 miles end to end, and that is too much territory to expect one Realtor to cover. I hope you can narrow it down to Southern Brunswick or Northern Brunswick, at least.

Different there then here in TN. Realtors here go an 80 mile radius

I did no realize that. If you want to view gated communities like St James Plantation or Compass Pointe you would need a Realtor to escort you. Sorry I cannot recommend anyone. When we bought we just used the builder's broker, contrary to conventional wisdom.
