My wife and I are moving from Eugene, Oregon to Wilmington,NC. We've never been to NC but have heard tons of great things about it.

We need help finding a decent apartment or townhouse either in Wilmington proper or close enough that it's an easy bike ride. Were looking for something with 2 bedrooms and a washer and dryer in the unit. A garage would be nice but it's not that important. I'd like to spend less than $900 per month if possible. Oh yeah and most important they must allow two 40 lb mixed breed dogs.

What I'm really after is recommendation for good complexes I can find plenty of apartments in Craigs list but I don't know if the complexes are nice or if there in good neighborhoods.

So can anyone offer advice on good apartment complexes were the management is decent and takes care of problems.

I moved to Wilmington about a year ago and I live in an apartment complex called The Park at Three Oaks. It is in the Ogden area of town, which is about 10 miles north of downtown on US 17 (Market St.). They are all 2 bedroom apts with a washer and dryer room in the unit. 2 bathrooms and granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms. Outdoor storage closet off the patio/balcony. My rent is $840 a month. I believe their website is www.theparkatthreeoaks.com if you want to check it out. Good luck!
