Wilmington for 2nd home (condo) (oceanfront, purchasing, live)

there seem to be some Wilmington experts with good opinions out here so...

we are looking at purchasing a condo to be used as a 2nd home. we love OBX and vacation there 2-3 weeks a year but it's too expensive to own property and condo choices there are very limited. we were sort of focusing on Myrtle but it's very far from Pennsylvania. we want 10-15 minute access to nice beaches (but not oceanfront) and possibly future boating/fishing on coastal waters. nice condo communities with pools and ideally on a golf course.

is Wilmington a fit and worth a visit? thanks in advance!

I think so. I'm a realtor here but I've also lived here for over 30 years and I love this area. You can get a much better deal now than last year. Also, Myrtle Beach is a day trip away for a busier time.
