New Bern (for sale, insurance, broker)

I have recently moved here from the Baltimore, Md area. I ready love the peace and quite and the acessablity to the ocean but the job market is a bite sparse. I have been thinking about starting a small home based business. I have always had a knack for orginization. On occassion I have been asked by friends that had property for sale to help them find ways to make their homes more attractive to the market. By just going into the properties and helping the owner find ways to eliminate the clutter in their living space the properties became more attractive and salable. On several occassions the owners decided that the extra space they were relocating for was not that needed after all. If anyone has any sugguestion as to how a service of this nature could be marketed I would appreciate their input as well as any legal/Insurance issues I am not aware of.

Market yourself to area Realtors. You might start by calling the Broker in Charge of the largest agency in your town and asking if you could be a guest speaker at one of their sales meetings. (Take food...Realtors love food!) Show them what you can do to make their listings look like model homes. They'll love it!
