Which beach area is better? We're trying to make it in NC in June and I need to know which is more family-friendly and more fun and where can we find a good seafood restaurant? Thanks.

Outer Banks all depends on where you plan on staying. Some places can be VERY isolated (which is what I prefer and why I go there). Nags Head is really populated and touristy. Hatteras Village, Waves, Salvo, Rodanthe, etc. are pretty quiet. Carolina Beach is more densely populated and has things for visitors. Anything you are interested in particular? Do you have specific ideas for the OBX?

^^^Thanks for your response. We're trying to go on vacation in June and we want to enjoy the 1 week that we're going to be off. We want to find out a nice beach in the NC area and we saw pics of Outer banks with excellent beaches and all, but we also found pics of Carolina and Kure Beach.... but we just want to go to just one of them because of time restriction (since we still like to explore the Asheville/mountain area, Raleigh and Charlotte within the time frame). Thanks.
