...ugh...we need new "chain" restaurants in this area about as badly as a person with high cholesterol needs a Super Sized fast food meal...sorry to sound grumpy...but, we need MORE things to DO here than more places to eat...

You are now able to run/walk from the Town Commons to the bottom of College Hill Dr onward (the "end" of the Greenway, is connected to sidewalks, so you can go from there). But the Dog Park to Greensprings isn't paved yet. So depending on the weather, it could be wet. But it is definitely runnable.

Is this in reference to the Peppermint's frozen yogurt? As far as I know this is NOT a chain. It's a local couple that opened this up.

maybe I'm one of the few who doesn't mind the chain restaurants. I saw the more the merrier. Not that I don't support local businesses...but really...people act all snobby about eating at local places.

We have a handful of good to great local businesses. Though, the last time I went to Finelli's, I was very, very dissapointed. The new bread sticks were a sorry excuse for a bread stick, the salad sucked, the service was horrible & the food was average at best...not what I remembered from previous experiences. It was way way over priced...tasted no better than Olive Garden I'm sad to say. Bring back the bread with the olive oil & stuff.
