my family and i are moving as soon as the school year in ct is over. we visited last year fell in love with the area and decided to relocate. if i could get some info on the area it would be much apreciated. like schools and work my wife works in the school system here as a para professional she is also a cna. i am a construction forman for a heavy highway company thanks for any feed back.

There aren't too many jobs available in Wilmington. The cost is high to live in Wilmington, because all the people up North keep moving down here. Rocky Point is getting built up, but Rocky Point is usually made up from the locals and a lot of trailors and country folks. The schools aren't really all that good in Rocky Point, because you would be going to Pender High. You are better off living in Wilmington if you want your child to get a better education. Rocky Point is getting built up a bit, but it is mostly a partying little town like Castle Hayne and they don't call it Rocky Joint for nothing.
